04 / How we check the details

If the source isn’t clear, the claim doesn’t make the trip.

We do not republish campsite availability, forecasts, closure claims, fire warnings or live road-condition claims. Use the official pages below for current information; make reservations yourself through the relevant parks booking service.

Other timely claims in an issue include the official source and the date and time it was checked. Unverified claims are omitted. Drafts stay private until the configured owner approves the issue.

General information only. Conditions change quickly. Always check the official source before you travel.

05 / A few good questions

Before you hitch up.

Where will the first issues cover?

The first edition is planned for Queensland and northern New South Wales. Coverage can expand by state as the source-led issue process grows.

Will Dustwren book a campsite for me?

No. Book It Now points readers to official booking pages so they can check availability and make their own booking there.

How do you handle changing conditions?

We link to official pages for campsite availability, forecasts, closures, fire warnings and live road conditions instead of repeating them. Other timely claims include their official source and check date and time; unverified claims are omitted.

When does the email arrive?

The free newsletter is open. It is planned for Fridays at 6am AEST, and every newsletter email includes a one-click unsubscribe.

Are deals sponsored?

Any affiliate link will be labelled clearly. Affiliate links do not change the source checks for availability or travel conditions.
